What to do when you're expecting

I'm expecting!!

But possibly not in the manner you're thinking- sorry lol

Expectation is defined as a strong belief that something will happen or be the case. So what do you do when you're expecting? Pregnant women have a number of checklists, appointments, and other things they work their way through once they find out the little one is on the way.

Where am I going with this you're probably wondering?

It hit me that as university students we almost go through the same thing. We watch our bodies change in one shape or another. We deal with the non-stop oohs and ahhhs of finally approaching the end. The sleepless nights that come with this. After 9 months we finally meet our baby graduation.

Depending on how well this goes you start thinking about baby number two *Masters*

At moments this whole process has felt like a non-stop roller coaster.  And at other moments, it's felt like time has moved at snail's pace.

So here I am with a few weeks to go. I've had every thought going through my head till this point.  Have I done things correctly? Should I have attended that tutorial that didn't have a register? Only time will tell.

It is funny to think that this whole process really has been a battle of the mind too.

From the months of expecting to graduate, I have learnt that as great as the end picture looks, more of my time has had to be spent in the present. A lot of deep breathes too.
